VINYLVERSE aims to create a world where records can be enjoyed not only in the real world but also in virtual spaces like AR, VR, and the metaverse. By bridging the physical and virtual realms, we strive to deliver new and innovative music experiences. VINYLVERSE is a project dedicated to exploring and shaping the future of how we enjoy music.

At P-Vine Inc., we have spent nearly half a century introducing a diverse range of music and its cultures, both domestic and international, through products such as records, CDs, DVDs, magazines, and books.

Historically, the way people enjoy music has evolved alongside advancements in media and technology—from sheet music for personal performance to radio, records, CDs, music videos on television, DVDs, ringtones, downloads, and now streaming.

Today, with just a smartphone and internet access, anyone can listen to as much music as they want, anytime, anywhere. The music industry has grown to its largest scale ever. At the same time, vinyl records are enjoying unprecedented popularity, with a growing consumer base, especially among younger generations. A wide range of music genres are now being produced as vinyl records worldwide. It is truly a golden age for music enthusiasts.

Artists with strong marketing skills can leverage social media to expand their networks and achieve global hits that transcend borders. It is said that over 100,000 songs are uploaded to streaming platforms every day. Online platforms have also created more opportunities to rediscover past music, leading to a surge in demand for rare, vintage records. As a result, second-hand records with high rarity are now being traded at record-high prices in the secondary market.

On the flip side, artists with limited marketing budgets often find themselves overshadowed by the overwhelming number of new releases and the constant stream of updates. Even when their music is heard, it is often treated as just another track among countless others. Are the emotions and stories these artists pour into their songs truly reaching the listeners? Additionally, while rare vintage records fetch unprecedented prices, the profits rarely, if ever, return to the artists themselves. As the market expands, significant challenges have become increasingly apparent.

In the near future, a world of virtual reality is predicted to emerge. We may find ourselves seamlessly moving between the real world and virtual spaces. But what will the future of enjoying music look like? We have decided to focus once again on records, setting the goal of this project to enable people to enjoy records not only in the physical world but also in digital spaces beyond reality.

VINYLVERSE offers new music experiences to both listeners and artists, bridging the physical and virtual worlds. Upholding our core value, “THE CHANGING SAME – Evolving, Yet Unchanging,” we strive to preserve and evolve the legacy of record culture as a cultural heritage. By leveraging digital technology, we aim to address the challenges we face while continuing to pass on the incredible charm of music culture to future generations.

VINYLVERSE: A space where your music lives.
