There can be various reasons for canceling a transaction. We recommend that buyers and sellers first communicate using the comment feature. Please decide whether the cancellation is due to the buyer’s or seller’s circumstances. Also, make sure to discuss whether the refund will be full or partial.

If a cancellation request is made by the buyer, the process will begin once it is accepted. If the request is declined, the transaction will proceed as usual.

If a cancellation is agreed upon, a refund will be issued to the buyer’s credit card used for the original payment. In the case of a buyer-initiated cancellation, Stripe will deduct transaction fees twice—once for the initial purchase and once for the refund—and the remaining amount will be refunded. If the cancellation is due to the seller, the buyer will not bear any transaction fees.

Once the cancellation is accepted, the refund will be completed within approximately three business days.
